Stephen M. Irving
Stephen M. Irving is the founder and principal attorney at Steve Irving, LLC, a Baton Rouge law firm serving clients in Louisiana and in federal courts throughout the United States in the areas of environmental claims and toxic torts, personal injury, zoning and ERISA.
Mr. Irving has been practicing law since 1974. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana and federal courts in Texas and Colorado. He has also been admitted to practice in many other states on a pro hac vice basis. Mr. Irving served as the first Chief Counsel for the Louisiana Inspector General's office and was selected by the Attorney General and Inspector General as a prosecutor in insurance scandals.
An amateur radio operator for 48 years, Mr. Irving is active in providing communication for the American Red Cross and other organizations. He serves as Technology Lead for the Capital Area Chapter of the Red Cross and belongs to the American Red Cross Disaster Services Technology Team. He is one of only 90 people in the U.S. certified by the American Red Cross as an Emergency Communication Restoration Vehicle Operator.
